On April 7, the Korea Institute for Maritime Strategy (KIMS) organized a roundtable, inviting VADM Shekhar Sinha (ret.) from India. Unter the topic of “The Hormuz Strait Crisis and India’s Response”, VADM Sinha provided comprehensive insight and analyses on the ongoing situation at the Hormuz Strait, India’s response, and India’s foreign relations with the Gulf countries. VADM Won, President of the KIMS, and Director Samman Chung continued in-depth discussion by sharing the South Korea’s perspective as well as comparison between South Korea and India in terms of their response to the crisis. VADM Won and VADM Sinha agreed to extend further academic collaboration, and concluded the roundtable.
