On December 9, 2024, the Korea Institute for Maritime Strategy arranged a roundtable with Dr. Nutcha Sukhawattanakun at Prince of Songlka University of Thailand. Dr. Nutcha shared her research on comparative studies of Legal conflicts and illegal fishing around Southeast Asia and maritime issues around the Korean Peninsula. For commentators, Prof. Suk Kyoon Kim at Hanseo University, who is also a former Commissioner of Korea Coast Guard, and Prof. Chang-Bin Jeon at ROK Naval War College joined the talk as related experts. Participants had an in-depth discussion on the topic with their own insights and opinions.
