On July 31, 2024, the Korea Institute for Maritime Strategy welcomed the Delegation from the Philippines Internal Affairs Service, headed by Undersecretary JV Llamas. This meeting was arranged upon the request from the Philippines Internal Affairs Service, and total of eight relevant government officials joined the talk. The two parties shared their perspectives on current dynamics in the Korean Peninsula as well as the Southeast Asian region, and agreed that further cooperation between the Republic of Korea and the Philippines is ever more needed.
