On March 27, 2024, the Korea Institute for Maritime Strategy hosted the delegation from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. The delegation included Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Thanh(Central Theoretical Council of the Communist Party of Vietnam), Prof. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh (Director General, East Sea Institute, Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam) and Mr. Hoang Ngoc Vinh (Director General of the Department of Legal and Policy Affairs, National Boundary Commission). The roundtable discussed Republic of Korea’s Indo-Pacific Strategy and current issues on maritime strategy including the South China Sea to seek possible measure to bolster bilateral relations between South Korea and Vietnam.
