Korea Institute for Maritime Strategy (KIMS) participated in the 6th Symposium on Global Maritime Cooperation and Ocean Governance, held in Hainan, China, from December 10 to 12, 2025. Hosted by the National Institute for South China Sea Studies (NISCSS) and Huayang Center for Maritime Cooperation and Ocean Governance, the symposium convened numerous leaders and experts around the world, sharing views and insights. VADM Taeho Won (ret.), President of the KIMS, attended the first session, “Building a Stable and Sustainable Global Ocean Governance System”, and delivered a presentation titled “Ocean Governance as Narrative: Beyond Command Toward Co-Creation”.
