On February 10, the Korea Institute for Maritime Strategy invited three former ROK Navy admirals as senior advisors and held a meeting on the development of the institute. VADM Hong-hee Lee (Ret.), former President of Korea Submarine League, VADM Jung-du Kim (Ret.), current President of Korea Submarine League, and RADM Jin Yong Ha (Ret.), President and CEO of UMBTECH participated in the meeting as senior advisors, and Chairman Eui-Sung Chung, President Tae-ho Won and Director Sam-man Chung from KIMS welcomed them. The two parties discussed the accomplishments of KIMS for the past thirty years, vision and planning projects for 2025, as well as the direction the KIMS should pursue as an independent research institute. Also, the KIMS and the Korea Submarine League agreed to establish a firm relationship for further academic exchange and collaborations.
