On May 15, 2025, the Korea Institute for Maritime Strategy and ROK Naval War College hosted its first joint seminar of the year. This seminar sought to assess the Trump Administration’s relationship with Beijing and explore the potential role for the ROK Navy and Marine Corps. Three panels were organized to talk about US security policies, PRC security policies and Chinese grey zone activities. This seminar was a joint/combined event. Students from the Army and the Air Force, as well as students from overseas joined the event. Each panel began with an expert presentation, followed by an intense discussion and Q&A.
